5 of 5 *Fatwheels are awesome February 2, 2023
Reviewer: Jim D from Colorado
We bought a set for our 12 yr old autistic daughter, who out of the blue decided she was ready to ride a bike!   Easy to attach, they adjusted to sit perfectly level to give her exceptional stability.    She will likely outgrow the current 20" bike and small set of Fatwheels and I fully expect we'll purchase the larger set when it's time.    Great, solid product, perfect for what we needed.

5 of 5 *Exactly what we needed! February 2, 2023
Reviewer: Ethan R. from Vermont
We have a 9 yo on the Autism Spectrum who has been unable to learn how to ride a bicycle. Previous attempts at training wheels became less successful as he got older and heavier. The weight capacity of standard training wheels was never enough. We tried going to a local bike shop and they ordered some higher capacity (100 lbs) wheels, but after a few rides the metal started to bend.

We had heard of FATWHEELS through a friend who also has a child who needs support at a later age.

They were easy to install and use and he's now gaining confidence and actually enjoying riding his bike!

Thank you!

These are a great product that allow my son with some balance and motor issues to finally be able to ride his bike. The only Improvement is that the assembly instructions could be a little bit more clear.

5 of 5 *Another hit with the kiddos! February 2, 2023
Reviewer: Carrie from Colorado Springs, CO
Our 7 year old son is still a beginning rider... his two older sisters have fat wheels due to various disabilities which affect coordination and balance.. when he got a bike we opted for fat wheels because we knew the quality and stability they offered compared to the $30 plastic training wheels sold in stores. Thanks once again for helping our kiddos stay active as a family!

5 of 5 *My 5 year old with Ataxia can ride a bike!! February 2, 2023
Reviewer: Gene
These wheels have been such a blessing. Our 5-year-old has a gross motor delay and a regular bike does not work for him. These wheels have been SO fun and now he can ride a bike totally on his own! And bonus, it is excellent, fun exercise and he is getting stronger.

Thank you Fatwheels so much. We were recommended by a PT for our issues with riding a bike and when we received the items it was good until user error occurred when mounting on. The customer service team was on it and Tony was excellent with his communication and our needs. We received the new parts in 2 days and our child is excited to ride with confidence. Thank you

5 of 5 *So pleased! February 1, 2023

My son has had difficulties with many things on a daily basis. He was born with Digeorge Syndrome and Xq28 duplication syndrome. He currently is 10 years old and has overcome 23 surgeries! Every year he has to retrain his muscles on riding a bike due to low muscle tone and loose ligaments.  He has oit grown bikes with training wheels that are sold in local stores.  I am so thankful that Fatwheels have made accommodations for individuals who struggle so they can have some what of a "normal" life and are able to join peers riding bikes. Thank you so much!

5 of 5 *Absolutely awesome! February 1, 2023
Reviewer: Jen McCook from Browns Valley, CA
These things are A-MAH-ZING!! My 11 year with Down syndrome kept asking for a bike for her birthday. During my research a fellow parent recommended Fatwheels and posted a video of her daughter easily riding a regular bike with the Fatwheels attached. Fast forward to my daughter's birthday. She picks out a bike at Wal-Mart and we get it home where my hubby attaches the Fatwheels. After I got her helmet on, she ran over to her bike, climbed on and started riding around like a pro. It was awesome to watch. She made a few sharp turns, but never tipped over or lost her balance and confidence. THANK YOU FATWHEELS!!

I am a physical therapist who works with children and adults with special needs.  We frequently recommend the addition of FatWheels to standard bikes for those that are not able to ride a bike without training wheels, but have the ability to sit on a bike, pedal and steer.  The FatWheels are amazing - they are build very solidly and are easy to install  My only complaints are that the included installation instructions and photos were difficult to understand and I don't like how the end of the bolts that secure the axle extension to the actual FatWheel stick out back toward the back of the users feet.  Seems this could lead to an injury - it would be better if they were designed to be installed going the other way or if a cap or something was included in order to protect the user.  Other than that - WE LOVE THEM!!!!

My 8 year old daughter is severely delayed and just learned to ride her bike. She needed something to support her since the training wheels thrust came with her bike was not enough support. This is so perfect! Wish the price wasn’t so high but times are hard! So happy we purchased!
